This week we were lucky enough to catch up with one of our community members, Becca, about how Good Vibes is bigger than just yoga - we are a movement.
What does Good Vibes mean to you?
"I came across Good Vibes a few years ago when I didn’t know what I was looking for, and just like that, it filled a void I had in my life. It filled that void with community, inspiration, real-talk, real-action, and unconditional acceptance. Good Vibes is Ben Spellman at the helm, but it is crewed with like-minded people wanting to be the change."
How do you see the movement acting as a catalyst to build bridges within our community?
"Now with the strength of the Good Vibes movement growing, and the community space at the Spot on 6th open, that movement has begun to envelop the neighborhood, and the kids that live in that area. It has allowed Good Vibes to get into some of the schools that need that mindset of community, communication, respect, and acceptance taught the most, and has become a bridge to other communities well beyond people that just show up to do yoga. I see the movement continuing to grow and spread to even more extensive programming to help primarily youth, who do not have as many advantages, and subsequently, their families."
